A: The factory diagnostic port on the bike or directly to the ECU depending on cable.
Q: How long does it take to flash?
A: Generally under 5 minutes.
Q: How many times can I flash the bike?
A: There is NO limit as to how many times you can flash a bike.
Q: How many bikes can I flash?
A: With a Rexxer User, you are able to flash 1 bike that the unit is licenced to. Rexxer ECU Tuning you are able to flash as many models and types of bikes as you wish, with a purchase of credits.
Q: What happens when I upgrade to a new bike, will my Rexxer unit work with my new bike.
A: Yes, Rexxer User can be returned to us and unlocked for a fee. Rexxer ECU Tuning simply purchase another credit.
Q: Can I restore to original map in ecu?
A: Yes, you can restore any bike to the original map.
Q: Will this affect my ecu functions when bike is serviced?
A: Yes, if the map you have chosen is a modified map which can allow for trimmer function this will be accecable.
Q: If I have more than one bike can I buy one user for both?
A: No, you will have to purchase an additional User or a Pro unit.
Q: What happens if I modify my bike after my flash can I change the map for the new setup?
A: Yes.
Q: Will mapping my bike improve my drivability.
A: Yes
Q: Can I get a map made custom for my bike?
A: Yes
Q: Can I have my bike tuned on the dyno using my stock ecu?
A: Yes
Q: Will flashing my bike fix my stalling issue?
A: If your bike is mechanically sound modifiying the map can often correct these annoying issues.
Q: Is this legal?
A: Yes. If the emmisions functions of the ECU are not modified beyond acceptable parameters. If vehicle is off-road/track use, than legality is not an issue.
Q: Will this affect my state emmisions inspection?
A: No, as long as the stock map is in the ECU at time of testing. Dependant on model of bike we offer dual mapping; street approved and off-road in one map.
Q: Can I use my Rexxer unit as a service tool?
A: Yes. Read and clear check engine light, TPS reset, Trimmer adjustment, Clear adaptive parameters, Reset maintanance light, is available on most vehicles.
